NZH Originally from Germany, this cucumber came to NZ in the 1860’s with the Albertlanders and was grown on the Kaipara Harbour where they settled. Torpedo shaped, yellow skinned sandwich slicers. Prolific produces and easy to grow.
Sow in trays in September prick out to 2.5cm spacing when true leaves appear. Transplant at 50cm diagonal spacing into fertile garden in direct sun.
