Our favourite Asian green. Produces dark green leaves in a rosette ideal in salads, stir-fries and soups. Very mild flavour that most kids love. Pick either a leaf at a time or all at once as stalks are very edible too.
Sow in early spring and early summer for Autumn/Winter supply. Direct sow in rows 20cm apart or sow in trays and prick out to 4cm diagonal spacing when true leaves appear. Transplant at 20cm diagonal spacing into fertile soil.
