Garlic - Early Pearl Seed 1st Grade (1 Bulb)

2020 Crop Situation: We have had limited rust present. We are satisfied with the early garlics and we have some seed grade available, limited stock! We have taken accurate photos with a matchbook for you, our customers to be able to make an informed choice before you purchase seed from us. We will remind everyone, that rust does not transfer through the seed, and instead is a fungal spore that lives on live allium plant material.

This is an early garlic from the Henry Harrington Collection. It is a perfect complement to our main crop garlics because just as these varieties are sprouting and losing their fresh flavour, this garlic is ready to be harvested!

Sow in March-April. Plant cloves15-20cm diagonal spacing pointy tip up in aerated, fertile, well drained soil that gets plenty of sunlight. Make sure soil is moist and then apply thick mulch directly after. Cut flower heads when emerging for larger bulb size, or keep for seed bulbils. Harvest Nov-Dec. when leaves start to die back. Store with roots and tops on to cure.
