Corn Silk Tea

Hand harvested from our heritage corn ears before we dry the seeds for selling. An herbal tea with a mild taste can be brewed from corn silk. In traditional Chinese and Native American medicine, it’s used to treat a variety of ailments, including prostate problems, malaria, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and heart disease. More recent research indicates that it may also help reduce blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and inflammation. Infuse approx. 1 tsp of tea for at least 5 minutes in freshly boiled water.
